Robot

The Robot is my tribute to the Single Cone Resonator Guitars built by National in the late 1920s and early 1930s.

In construction and design I want to stay as true to the originals without just building plain copys.

I spent a lot of time of effort during my studies to learn the techniques of making Resonator Guitar bodies and cones out of sheet metal.

Also it has been a big question in my Bachelor thesis what makes these instruments sound like they do.

So now here is the Robot. A warm, full-bodied  sounding resonator guitar with nice attack and sustain.

Not a tin can.
